Anna McIlwain, M.S.
Exercise Physiologist
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, University of Mississippi, 1999
Master of Science in Exercise Physiology, University of South Carolina, 2001
Work History:
Anna has been working for IWR Therapy Systems as an Exercise
Physiologist in the Work Hardening Department since August
of 2003. She primarily instructs injured workers through the
Work Hardening Program and Conditioning Programs. She also
performs Functional Capacity Evaluations and Work Capacity
Evaluations, Physical Ability Tests, and Biodex Tests. Back
School and Job Task Analysis are services she performs
on-site. Prior to her employment at IWR, she worked at
Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina as
an Exercise Physiologist in the Cardiac, Vascular, and
Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department.
Personal:
Anna was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and
currently still resides there. She has a younger brother
with Down Syndrome and enjoys being very involved with him
in all of his activities. She was awarded volunteer of the
year in 2008 for the DREAM Program, which is a year round
sports program uniting individuals with and without
disabilities. Anna loves animals, traveling, and spending
time outdoors, especially on the water.
